Company IPODEC-ČISTÉ MĚSTO, a.s. began its work on 1 11. 1991, it represented the emergence of one of the first direct equity input of foreign capital into this business sector in the Czech Republic and also the (back then) largely pioneering model of connection between communal and private sector capital.

Both shareholders of the company, City District Prague 8, (joint company from its inception to the present),
Marius Pedersen company (a shareholder since 2001, since the inception of the company until 2001 the second shareholder was French company CGEA), provide good support to enable its business and technological growth.

Company IPODEC – ČISTÉ MĚSTO, a.s. is part of the international group Veolia Environnement, is part of the Marius Pedersen Group, the Czech market leader in waste disposal management.

The main activities of the company are waste disposal management (collection of municipal waste, including its sorted components, services for business, operating container systems, complex waste disposal management projects, restaurant waste disposal management, the operation of the collecting yard, black landfill disposal) and cleaning and winter maintenance .
